Connecting Collections: A Collaborative Exhibit from the McCain Library & Archives
How does an Iowa native and children's book author, Emilie Blackmore Stapp, relate to a boarding school for African American teenagers in the Piney Woods of Mississippi? What might timber industry documents and photographs tell us about Stapp? This collaborative exhibit from Special Collections in McCain Library & Archives illustrates how our various collections complement each other and how they work together to tell a story.
The exhibit will be on display until March 10, 2010. The de Grummond Exhibit Room is on the second floor of Cook Library, and the hours are from 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. on Saturday, and 12:00-9:00 p.m. on Sunday.
If you have any questions about the exhibit, please contact the de Grummond Curator, Ellen Ruffin, at or 601.266.4349.
