Each month, University Libraries highlights a resource from its collections. This month we are featuring The Cochrane Library from the Cochrane Collaboration. The Cochrane Library is a collection of databases containing different types of high-quality, independent evidence for healthcare decision-making such as systematic reviews, meta-analyses, clinical trials, protocols, and health technology assessments. At the library’s core is the Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews, a collection of peer-reviewed systematic reviews and protocols prepared in-house. Updated regularly as new information becomes available, The Cochrane Library is considered by many to be the gold standard in evidence-based health care.
