Emmett Till Traveling Exhibit at Cook Library

The University of Southern Mississippi Center for Oral History and Cultural Heritage is pleased to announce the Emmett Till Traveling Exhibit will be on display on the first floor of Cook Library beginning April 30, 2007. The traveling exhibit is on loan from Delta State University Archives and Museum and contains ten panels: Introduction, Sumner, The Courthouse, The Jury, Preparation, Participants, Mose Wright, Trial Action, Mamie Bradley, and Resolution. Supplementing the panel display is a selection of books from Cook Library related to Civil Rights in Mississippi. A selected bibliography of related works from McCain Library Special Collections is also available. The exhibit will be on display through May 11, 2007.
