Each month, University Libraries highlights a resource from its collections. This month we are featuring ProQuest Dissertations & Theses Full Text. This database provides indexing for dissertations and theses from around the world, spanning from 1637 to the present. It offers full text for graduate works added since 1997, along with selected full text for works written prior to 1997. Search options include author, advisor, committee member, and university/institution, as well as subject. Each dissertation published since July 1980 includes a 350-word abstract written by the author, and master's theses published since 1988 include 150-word abstracts. Dissertations from The University of Southern Mississippi are included beginning with 1962.
