Finishes Touches are Being Added to Cook Library's Lobby

While work in the north side of Cook Library is mostly complete, several areas are still receiving updates.

On August 20, new lighting was installed in the ceiling in the lobby. The light fixture is a large, circular modern piece that highlights the new wooden ceiling.

Following the addition of the light fixture was a lighted wall feature, added on August 26. The lighted wall feature is made up of two perforated metal panels, backlit by LED lights.

Installation on the first of three elevators was completed on September 11. Work has now moved to the second, and all elevators are expected to be installed by the end of the year.
