World Trade Center Artifacts on Display in Cook Library Art Gallery

Two metal artifacts from the World Trade Center buildings attacked on 9/11 are now on display in the Cook Library Art Gallery. The cut steel spandrels were obtained by Hattiesburg mayor Johnny DuPree and donated to the University of Southern Mississippi's National Center for Sport Security. The pieces are being shown in conjunction with the current exhibition, The 9/11 Series by Terence Netter. Exhibit hours are Monday, 1-4 and Tuesday - Friday 11-4 through November 5,2011.
