Event - Women's Health Talk - March 22, 2010

In celebration of Women's History Month, on March 22nd, the University Libraries and The University Committee on Services and Resources for Women (CSRW) will sponsor a talk on Women's Health by Betty S. O'Brian. After the talk Ms. O'Brian will sign copies of her new book "Six Weeks to a Healthy Lifestyle." She is the author of three previous books: Living Longer and Loving It, Causations: Using Sclerology to Clarify Iridology, and Going Green…with Smoothies."

Ms. O'Brian is a traditional naturopath and owner of Infinity Health Center in Biloxi, MS. She has a B.S. in English and M.S. in English from the University of Southern Mississippi. She is an Iridologist, Naturopathic Physician and Herbalist with degrees from the School of Natural Medicine in Boulder, CO, and certified in raw foods and a Living Foods Educator from the Ann Wigmore Institute in Puerto Rico. She is also a Certified Master Sclerologist and an Herbalist who studied with Rosemary Gladstar.

The presentation, which is free and open to the public, will be held March 22 in Cook Library Room 123, 5:30-7:00 p.m. Refreshments will be provided. For more information, call 601.266.4249.
