Special Collections is accepting applications for student curartors for the Spring 2016 semester. University Libraries' curators instruct students about the process of curating a cultural history display, and students will learn how to select items for display, install the materials, write labels and exhibit text, and publicize the exhibit. Student curators are required to select topics and materials for their exhibit from the collections found in Special Collections.

A list of selected topics can be found at http://libguides.lib.usm.edu/special_collections_topics organized by major. This opportunity is available to all undergraduate and graduate students at Southern Miss. Three students will be selected to serve as student curators for Spring 2016.
