Mississippi Digital Library Announces the Inaugural Cultural Heritage Digitization Award

The Mississippi Digital Library is pleased to partner with Delta State University, Mississippi Department of Archives and History, Mississippi State University, and The University of Mississippi, and The University of Southern Mississippi to offer the inaugural Cultural Heritage Digitization Award. The award is designed to assist institutions with digitization to create accessible collections that represent Mississippi history, have high scholarly value, or are at risk (fragile physical condition). The chosen recipient will receive a cumulative 80 hours of archival quality digitization services on location, at their own institution, membership in the MDL, and a digital collection on the MDL website.
