On June 26th, University Libraries will go live with a new streamlined Library Service Platform (LSP) which is designed to allow for more innovative and efficient operations. The new LSP is completely cloud-based and will serve as a hub for many of the libraries’ services, including circulation, interlibrary loan, library acquisitions, and much more.

The Libraries will also introduce Seymour Info, an improved discovery service that will retrieve results from the libraries’ catalog in addition to Aquila, Special Collections and Digital Collections. The new discovery interface will offer an updated look as well as provide enhanced functionality for all users.

More information will be forthcoming, including a schedule of training dates to familiarize students, faculty, and staff with the new search tool.
