Growing Up Jewish in Hattiesburg lecture/performance

The de Grummond Children's Literature Collection along with Charles and Anita Price of Oddfellow's Gallery, the Historic Hattiesburg Downtown Association, and the Mississippi Museum of Art invite you to hear the presentation of "Growing up Jewish in Hattiesburg" this upcoming Thursday, February 23, 2012, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Jerry Shemper and Milton Waldoff, both Hattiesburg residents, will impart the experience of being Jewish and growing up in Southern Mississippi. All attendees will be provided refreshments as well as authentic Jewish music performed by Rabbi Uri Barnea. The event will take place at Oddfellow's Gallery located at 119 East Front Street in downtown Hattiesburg.
