Southern Miss Gulf Coast Libraries to Host Free Women's Wellness Panel

Long Beach, Miss – The Southern Miss Gulf Coast Libraries in celebration of Women's History Month will host a free Women's Wellness Panel Tuesday, March 27, 2012, noon–2:00 p.m. in room 204 of the Gulf Coast Library on the Gulf Park campus in Long Beach.

This wellness panel will focus on three relevant topics of healthy living. First, Angela Kay Hovanec, Nurse Practitioner from Memorial Hospital at Gulfport will lead a discussion on Women’s Health and Stress. The second speaker, Stacey Curry, MPH, Director of Southern Mississippi Area Health Education Center from University of Southern Mississippi will cover the topic of Women and Cancer: The Power of Prevention and Early Detection. The third topic Women and Nutrition will be facilitated by Martha-Lee Bohn, Certified Health Counselor from Ask Your Auntie – Health Coaching for You.

Everyone is encouraged to attend and participate in the discussions which will follow the presentations.
